The IM Series is an NVP Free UV curable ink system designed for second surface decoration of polycarbonate and other plastic films used in In-Mold Decoration / In-Mold Labeling applications for the Industrial Graphics Market. IM Series inks have excellent flexibility and durability and are suitable for use with most forming, trimming and Injection Molding processes. This ink exhibits excellent resistance to Gate-wash - a common problem during the injection molding process. The IM Series ink exhibits similar adhesive strength / peel strength as current Solvent-Based Ink Systems when used as directed.
MSK Series is the Industry Standard UV Curable Ink System for second surface decoration of polycarbonate and many types of polyester used as membrane switches, overlays and nameplates. MSK provides outstanding character definition, multiple pass intercoat adhesion and is resistant to attack from pressure sensitive adhesives, including 3M 467/468 MP Adhesives. This ink gives you the confidence to meet your customer´s performance requirements while being easy to process. MSK is flexible / embossable, and die-cuts without chipping or cracking.
The PTX Series is an NVP-Free UV Curable Ink formulated specifically for second surface decoration of top coated and print treated polyester films for Industrial Applications. It also performs well on polycarbonate and poly- carbonate/polyester blend films. This series exhibits excellent adhesion to top coated and print treated polyester films, where multiple exposure to UV energy is required. The PTX Series displays superior opacity and color strength, while maintaining superior flexibility and adhesive resistance characteristics. Like the MSK Series, the PTX is the ink of choice to those printers supplying industrial overlays and switches looking for an NVP-Free UV ink.
